Make no mistake, river otters are the apex predators of this wetland. This mallard duck had no idea how close it was to becoming a meal. Check out the slowed down footage, you'll see the moment the otter decides to go for the strike only to mistime it by a fraction of a second.

I, for one, am thrilled my hero Jeremy Wade is back to continue River Monsters, one of my favorite shows I grew up on. Next up: whales? The Loch Ness Monster? Cthulhu himself?

No Montana trip is complete without bison. Watch this young bull work a rub tree. Bison rub for a few reasons: scent marking, horn conditioning, and parasite relief. Whatever his reason, he meant business.

Whoa I didn't even realize I'm at 39K and might hit 40K followers soon. That's WILD! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd have this many folks follow me. I'm honored! Thanks for being so supportive!

New National Park just dropped. Looks like it rocks!
Americaโ€™s newest national park is rock solid! Chiricahua is officially our 64th national park. Welcome to the "Wonderland of Rocks."

Looks like ๐• really wants me to keep posting vertical videos. I already did one for today and you still haven't included my last three towards the Video Kickstart tally ๐Ÿ˜‚

Imagine my reaction watching this bighorn sheep just yeet off a cliff. Don't worry, there was a meadow on the other side it landed in.

One of my favorite things about these type of animal rescues is how the animal just seems to cooperate and allow the rescuer to clip or cut around them. It's like they know based off the energy they bring! It's my headcanon and I'm sticking with it.
๐Ÿšจ-- VOLUME ALERT-- Loud moose ahead! This week in Idaho, Deputy Frantz with the Latah County Sheriffโ€™s Office got a welfare check call on a juvenile moose that had gotten itself tangled up in some wire. Bodycam shows him calmly talking the young bull through itโ€”โ€œHold onโ€ฆ couple more clips, budโ€โ€”while cutting him free. Moose stayed remarkably still once he realized help was there, then took off. Safe, sound, and a belly full of apples. ๐ŸซŽ Well done, Deputy Frantz.๐Ÿ‘ โ“Whatโ€™s the best โ€œofficer helps animalโ€ story youโ€™ve seen?

Another look at the king of the mountain. Not as dramatic as the tight crop, but still a portrait Iโ€™m proud of. Still can't believe I had this bighorn ram all to myself on my hike to Hidden Lake, Glacier National Park.
Locking eyes with the king of the mountain. This photo has a very special place in my heart. Everything I love about Americana wilderness in a single frame: grit, perseverance, and stoicism.

Obviously not the world's greatest photos but I wanted to capture something to document the moment and give you guys a sense of epic scale that is Glacier National Park. A massive grizzly sow with her two cubs foraging along the mountainside of Mt Henkel. Roughly two miles out.
Can you guys see the massive grizzly sow and her two cubs? They were barely visible with the naked eye with how well they blended into the mountainside.

Looks like X didn't count my dolphin video. I'm wondering if it didn't like that despite going 9:16 I actually cropped down so you could see more of the dolphin and overlayed it over a blurry version to fill the space. Good to know now (which sucks).
UPDATE: There's actually a section that DOES show which videos qualified! Did X actually listen to me? My first vertical video I posted after enrolling was my Glacier elk encounter and turns out it qualified!

Keep me honest here @allegrajacchia did X not like how I formatted that video?
One of the best parts about living in South Florida is the aquatic wildlife. Now with the annual fall mullet run, chances to see bottlenose dolphins increases exponentially in our waterways and bays.

Is there a more underrated North American ungulate than the mountain goat? Built for alpine tundra and sheer cliffs, it's incredible how formidable they are. This one at Hidden Lake, Glacier NP, was a treat to catch on our hike.

It's been two days since I enrolled in the new Video Kickstart Bonus program (thanks X) and I've posted four vertical videos since then. One video just cleared and has been added to the docket so it does look like there is an approx. 48 hour delay.

X just sent me an invite to post 15 videos for $500 and a year of free X Premium+ subscription. I'll take the generous offer, thank you! Just in time with all the content I got from Glacier National Park too. Would be nice if the videos I posted earlier counted.

Would be nice if X had a way to show which videos get accepted or maybe receive an "Earning" or "Monetized" badge like YouTube does for their uploads.
