🌱💧 NEW for Spring 2027: Train for a Texas Water Operator License While in High School
Stafford MSD is launching Wildlife, Fisheries & Ecology Management with the SETH Basic Water Works Operations Program embedded within the course. Juniors and seniors will study wildlife, water, and ecosystem management, complete the same 20-hour industry training used by working water operators, and have the opportunity to test toward the TCEQ Class D Water Operator License before they graduate.
Why it matters:

Open to: Juniors & Seniors
Seats Available: 10-12 students only
Cost: No cost to students
Starts: Spring 2027
How to get a seat:
Students should speak with Mr. Yim or Mr. Root, or ask their counselor for more information. Interested students should tell us why they want to participate, as we will be selecting a small cohort of students who are ready to commit to the program.

Monday’s board meeting recognized one of Stafford MSD’s longtime educators, who has proudly served our district for 30 years as an FFA instructor.
Jack Jebbia was recently inducted into the Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas Hall of Fame — a tremendous and well-deserved career accomplishment!
Throughout his 30 years of service, Jack has done it all: teaching, coaching, hauling trailers, working livestock, judging contests, and, most importantly, helping students thrive and succeed. Stafford Mayor Ken Mathew declared August 14, 2026, as Jack Jebbia Day in the City of Stafford to celebrate his lifelong impact on students.
This honor is a reflection of the lasting impact Jack has made on countless students and our Stafford MSD community.
The recognition is more than well deserved. BIG congratulations, Jack! ❤️🎉
