And a special thank you to these wonderful children. Their kindness, compassion, and willingness to care for others is truly inspiring. They remind us that the values we want in our city begin with how we teach and raise our children.
These are the moments that remind me of the kind of city I dream of building — a city where people care for one another, where kindness is valued, and where no one feels forgotten or alone.
This is the kind of Malé I want to work for: a city filled with kindness, compassion, care, and love.
Proud of these children. They are showing us the Malé City we should all aspire to build. ❤️🇲🇻

Today, I signed a Letter of Intent with the Mayor of Haikou City, Hon. Zhang Yong, to establish friendly relations between Malé City and Haikou.
This marks an important step towards strengthening cooperation and creating new opportunities for collaboration in commerce, agriculture, education and tourism, while building stronger connections between our people.
I look forward to building on this partnership and bringing our two cities closer together.

Deputy Mayor @MekhaelMohamed and Councillor @ahmed_saneeh visited the Maldives Expo, where they explored the various stalls, products, and services showcased by local businesses.
The expo is a great opportunity to support local businesses, meet entrepreneurs, and see the creativity and hard work of Maldivians. It’s always encouraging to see local businesses coming together to showcase what they have to offer.

Never sign anything just because your boss asks you to. Understand exactly what you’re getting yourself into. At the end of the day, when things go wrong, you’re the one who will face the consequences. Don’t assume anyone will come to your rescue. Protect yourself first.
