i like it when sonic's inspirational lines are more cryptic and up to interpretation he doesn't flat out tell you what to do or how to specifically live he gives you a vague direction, but it's up to you to define it

Expanding on this a bit, the main problem with this line is how defeated and desperate Sonic sounds. It says he knows he’s lost and is apologizing for getting his friends hurt. It’s just so antithetical to Sonic’s character to sound like this, I just cannot like it.
