Sparks Gopd 18u Treccani finished in the top 4 at the Nationals in Peoria IL. I was fortunate to play second base, shortstop and right field throughout the tournament making some key plays to help the team. We faced some tough competition all tournament seemingly facing division 1 committed pitchers every at bat. A lot of talent at this tournament but we didn’t back down. Offensively we hit,ran and got on base all weekend. I finished the tournament batting .417 with an on base of almost .600. Some hard hit balls that turned into doubles, some singles, clutch rbi, a few walks, even 2 hit by pitch- anyway to get on. Thank you Sparks coaches and teammates for an unforgettable ride. Onto my next chapter @chicago_mt @TinaWiley03 @ChrisUlrey @IUINDY_SBALL @haveadaycoach @mborden22

We hit the ball hard all weekend against some of the best competition in the Midwest. The Sparks didn’t finish how we wanted going 1-3-1 with some tough fought games. We had a come from behind walk off win when I took a 6 pitch base on balls for the win! I had 3 walks, 2 singles, 1 double, and a lead off home run along with 3 RBI and 1 run scored while playing an errorless second base. We head to St. Charles this weekend for the New Lenox Lightning invite. This will be a nice warm up for the IDT Colorado tournament 6/30-7/5. A few highlights from my games last week. As a team we are playing lights out. We are playing error free softball with timely hitting and aggressive base running. I have spent most of my season playing shortstop and leading my team by making sure we were all on the same page, in position and communicating. Offensively I have hit the ball consistently hard to all fields. My slash line with 2 games left  is .500/.630/.647. @chicago_mt @TinaWiley03 @Coach_MGriff @CoachRonFrost @BonitaAllen_ @IUINDY_SBALL @KYSUAthletics @CofCSoftball @CoachTaylorW @tusculumSB @CoachFrankReed @FSC_Softball @JBMTSUsoftball @LauraMatthews12 @Busoftballcoach @coachbreneman @Clift_coach @CoachBredbenner @CoachG_14274 @StagsSoftball @GWUSoftball @UTampaSoftball @CoachPinkerton @BaileyDillender @coach_kgreen @Strimp25 @jess_bracamonte @RacersSoftball @CoachWThees @NIUSoftball @Coach_Mgardner @whitney_arion @ChrisUlrey

It was a short game as we won 17-0 but I went 2 for 2 with a walk and a stolen base. The double was hit hard to center field, just missed going out on a 218 fence. The single could have been a double but we were not taking extra bases at that point in the game. Played short stop but had no plays on the infield. Two more games this week as our team keeps getting stronger @Coach_MGriff @CoachRonFrost @IUINDY_SBALL @KYSUAthletics @CofCSoftball @CoachTaylorW @tusculumSB @CoachFrankReed @FSC_Softball @JBMTSUsoftball @LauraMatthews12 @Busoftballcoach @coachbreneman @Clift_coach @CoachBredbenner @CoachG_14274 @StagsSoftball @GWUSoftball @UTampaSoftball @CoachPinkerton @BaileyDillender @coach_kgreen @Strimp25 @jess_bracamonte @RacersSoftball @CoachWThees @NIUSoftball @Coach_Mgardner @whitney_arion

Highlights from the last 2 games. My team went 1-1, I played shortstop and center field made some good plays at both positions. Just missed coming up with a diving play at shortstop deep in the hole. Game #2 I hit my first grand slam of the season on a hard hit line drive over the center field fence. Current slash line for the season is .500/.615/.800 Our team is coming along and getting ready to play again this week. @BonitaAllen_ @Coach_MGriff @CoachRonFrost @chicago_mt @TinaWiley03
