Today we had the opportunity to teach our classmates all about physical science, what it entails, and example lessons to use for K-6! We also shared an experiment with them on how colors appear depending on if you're looking through gas or liquid!

Enjoyed listening to Dr. Kearns insightful session, “Why Students Struggle to Read,” from the Bright Beginnings Conference. “Dyslexia is not a visual processing problem, it is a sound processing problem.” @devin_kearns @PapaeWymore @CentralCollege

Take a minute with this. Left: no scandals, ever. Jan Jensen @goiowa could be a star head coach anywhere (incl a men’s program). @CoachBFerentz only has a job because of daddy and his base salary is higher than @LisaBluder’s. Go explain this to your daughter (or son). I’ll wait.

So grateful for the opportunity to meet with Governor Kim Reynolds today!! Truly one of the most kind, courageous, and truth-filled women I’ve ever met. @IAGovernor I can’t thank you enough for standing up for Iowa girls.

This morning I met with Ainsley Erzen--the fastest girl in our state’s history in the 800-meter and high-school national champion. I’m so proud of her courage and bravery for taking a stand to protect and preserve female sports for exactly what they were meant to be.
