S&P 500 thoughts: I hold the outlook that a much-needed correction will swiftly erase the prevailing euphoria and serve as a humbling experience for those who joined the market late on the long side. In terms of targets, I maintain that the S&P 500 is set to initially correct towards the range of 3950 to 4100.
These two price levels, 3950 and 4100, hold importance as they correspond to key nodes on the volume profile. These nodes represent prices at which the highest volume of trades has occurred since the market peak of 2022, this price memory should provide a support for the index during a corrective decline.
This represents a 9-12% decline from last weeks closing price.
