Central government is planning 5 new university townships under Budget 2026-27. 5 states are currently being considered for this massive academic and industrial project. Tamil Nadu, Assam, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha are the chosen states. They will now compete to host these special, self-contained educational hubs very soon. Each state must provide 1,000 acres of contiguous land. Also the locations must be very close to major industries so students can find jobs and training easily. Cities like Coimbatore, Jagiroad, Dholera, Amaravati, and Bhubaneswar are currently on the radar. These places will soon turn into massive knowledge cities with modern facilities. I feel the idea of Connecting major universities directly with leading industries is a fantastic way to bridge the gap between education and employment.

The only reason I want to live in a Tier 1 city is the ease of life it gives. Kuch khatam ho gaya ghar pe → Blinkit/Zepto kar lo Maid nahi aayi → Pronto/Snabbit kar lo Kahi jaana hai → Uber/Rapido Kuch kharab ho gaya ghar mein → Urban Company Time becomes a far more important asset than anything else. Once you get used to this convenience, it's hard to go back.

Unpopular opinion : Bihar would be much better with just Magadh in it. Mithila people anyways want to have a separate state and the districts are also very poor and have to go through floods every year, bhojpur people have a strong crass image across India whereas nobody in India thinks lowly of magadh or magadhi and the districts are significantly better than those in bhojpur and mithila. Bihar would be better off with just Magadh in it.

Reclaim West Bengal's Lost area's Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Balasore, Bhagalpur, Kishanganj, Purnia - these were NEVER Bihar, Jharkhand or Odisha. These are, were, and will always be PART OF WEST BENGAL. Bihar lost Purulia to West Bengal in 1956 after the Manbhum Movement.

IAS & IPS cadres were essential to bind the selfish dehatis of this country together. British knew it, Sardar Patel knew it. Without these two cadres of All India nature, some of the guys at some corners of India could be constantly dreaming of secession & local cults would have established complete monopoly on institutionalised corruption. Despite having these cadres, we see all problems like regional politics, language debates, sidelining national interests, discriminatory policies, appeasement, delayed execution of policies etc. Without that steel frame, all those issues could be way bigger in frequency & intensity & the Centre would be found completely clueless. To break apart the Union of India, they will first target post of Governor & then All India nature of these two services.
