Our course policies, practices, and communication matter. As @TheTattooedProf makes clear in #RadicalHope, we must be our students' allies in their educational experiences, and we need to be mindful of those aspects of our courses that deliver that message. #TuesdayThoughts

Dear @uwgb students:
Remote learning can feel isolating, but you're not alone. If I can help you reach your goals, if you've got a problem you're not sure how to tackle, or if you'd like to chat about your experience, let me know. I'm here for you and with you.

It's really easy to get caught up in what you feel you don't know, got wrong, or didn't get done. This negative POV can be tough to shake. Instead start with what you know, got right, and got done. See the rest as tomorrow's tasks and make a plan for next steps. #PositiveMindset

My email in-box is always a "work in progress," but I have found that checking it on a regular schedule and prioritizing responses helps manage the challenge of volume and the stress it can cause. Folders help me stay organized, and tasks and deadlines make sure I get stuff done!

Can't see a course in Canvas? Instructors need to publish the material in order for it to be visible to students. Reach out to your instructors if you do not see the class there, or if you have any questions about the first couple days of class.
