Before the emergency press conference of Min Heejin, HYBE claims that Min Heejin was involved in 'shamanic management' by relying on shamans.
HYBE claims that she discussed opinions with shamans on the issue of BTS members military service. A claim was made that the shaman made a statement alluding to witchcraft, saying, "I wanted to send them [BTS] away. It's not like I won a gold medal," while Min Heejin requested witchcraft, saying, " I thought it would benefit me if they weren't there."

Min Heejin talks about the current situation of NewJeans members:
— “The relationship between NewJeans and me is beyond your imagination. We are comforted by each other. The children are so beautiful and kind. Yesterday, Hani said, 'CEO, you are having a hard time, I will come to your house.' Haerin usually doesn't talk much, but she video called me in the middle of the night. Hyein cried for 20 minutes. “I have so many things to be thankful for, but she apologized for not being able to help me when I was going through a difficult time.”
