Jenrick, now Reform UK treasury spokesman, is listed as ‘possibly’ referring an export packing firm. Graham Brady, then chair of the 1922 committee of backbench Tory MPs, referred an interior design company near his Altrincham and Sale West seat. Brady told Democracy for Sale that he had “no recollection of this but given the location, I assume I was passing on an approach from a constituent. I have no involvement with the company and never have had.” Owen Paterson, who later left parliament after a lobbying scandal, referred a Birmingham biotech firm working on pregnancy complications. None of these firms were given contracts. Then health secretary Matt Hancock is named against 27 companies, three of them marked ‘possible’. Former Conservative party chairman Lord Feldman is recorded against 21 (three ‘possible’) and Cabinet Office minister Lord Agnew against 14 (four ‘possible’).

This is just not true. As soon as I became foreign secretary I asked the security services the same question and they replied that there was no evidence of any successful interference in the 2016 referendum, by Russia or any other power. Either the security services have changed their view - which would be very odd - or Burnham is lying about what he has been told. Seems like @Nigel_Farage social media bots are malfunctioning. Same happening with @LeeAndersonMP_ or @RobertJenrick accounts 😂 might have something to do with the fact that Meta backend rolled out a tweak that essentially, for lack of better phrasing, digitally concussed the bots, so they can't completely touch base with the central LLM. So it's defaulted to absurd nonsensicalisms from the bots. Just shows that Reform is basically a bot farm. Something that we knew for a long time.

The French police have just illegally stopped me and my friends, despite us holding press credentials and working as bona fide journalists. They’ve also seized my gas mask, which I believe is an attempt to obstruct our ability to report freely. So much for freedom of the press.

Own the bill you left. Debt was £1.15 trillion in 2010. It was £2.7–2.8 trillion when you were kicked out in 2024. You added over £1.5 trillion. The High Court ruled the VIP PPE lane unlawful in 2022. After 5 years hiding the names, records now show over 30 senior Tories, including 8 of Boris Johnson’s cabinet. Matt Hancock alone referred 27 companies. Conservatives referred 119 suppliers and 25 got contracts. Everyone else referred 5 and got none. Hundreds of millions wasted on unusable kit is in the debt you are blaming on Labour. Thanks to the Tories.
