What does it take for farmers to find answers to their questions- farmers with inquisitive minds, and their ingenuity feed with Extension county meetings, field trials, field days, newsletters, farm visits and much more.
Pleasant surprise w/ grower. Evaluated ears from several fields (see one ear). Had one field accidentally planted 77k per acre (see 2 ears). Fieldview says they’ve had 7 inches rain since planting. Amazing figures. See secret weapon. @NCCornGrowers @NCExtension

ncneagexpo.com math goes like this. Two seasoned (old) agents plus two young agents equals getting the work done. Planted the Pasquotank soybean variety trial. Could use some rain. Remember our 2024 Summer Field Day 7/25. @ncsoybeans @NCStatesoybeans @AustinBrownAg

This is what the rye & hairy vetch cover crop looks like after being rolled (cover crop rolled may have been a little earlier) and planted 4/29 with corn. Looks great. Now let’s see how the corn performs.
