I’ve already said I sympathise with Dowman surrounding the red card. However I also believe this is a perfect learning opportunity for Max. Arteta is perfectly within his rights to publicly discipline him.
The fuck is wrong with Arteta?!

At least 2 horror challenges on Dowman tonight. His reaction was fully justified after the ref failed to give him any protection all game.
RED CARD for Max Dowman! 🟥

1. MLS at LB is a disaster waiting to happen. Love him in midfield. Hate him at LB 2. White over Timber 😰 3. Eze much better centrally than off the left 4. Gyokeres 💩
My goodness this lineup stinks 🤢

Omg Viktor Gyökeres has just done the best thing he’s EVER done in an Arsenal shirt. Great assist. Great finish from Rice.

Saka is my favourite ever Arsenal player. He represents our club perfectly. But if these injuries continue and he can’t recover his best form then he simply can not continue to be the focal point of our attack. It’s unsustainable. Football and its injuries are so cruel.

The Champions League is in a pretty dark place. UEFA allowed both City and PSG to get away with breaking all their rules. However PSG won’t be facing domestic action like City because the French league now solely survives because of PSG. UCL is becoming a one team tournament.

Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice were sent off for this by the way. And it cost us the League

“He give him no choice.” We said you’d never seen decisions like the Rice and Trossard ones again, and with each passing season, the integrity of the officials who made those sendings offs becomes more and more questionable.

Counter argument: City have the best players in the world and their only real weakness over the years has been complacency. Every game being hotly contested could spur them on.
Next few weeks / months are a new challenge for City. Largely everyone except United has been very apathetic to them. City having to play to actually hostile crowds something they’ve just not experienced on a regular basis.

It won’t be his decision. He won’t be able to obtain a license if the guilty verdict stands.
🚨💣 𝐌𝐀𝐉𝐎𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Sheikh Mansour will sell Manchester City if the appeal fails, according to UAE expert Christopher M. Davidson. 🇦🇪🔵😳 He says the ruling family would feel embarrassed and disgraced. Would rather cut losses than leave the ownership tainted in England.

Just a nonsense argument. Man City’s success is the “no rules” case study. The least competitive era of premier league football.
If only rival fans put the hatred aside for five minutes and realise that the rules were fundamentally flawed from the beginning. Massive credit to those who can see past the red-tinted glasses.

Wait what actually happens to all these teams? If the owners are deemed to no longe be “fit and proper” will they all be forced to sell? Or do other leagues not have the same owner scrutiny? @themagic_tophat do you know?
Aye, Man City, Girona, Melbourne City FC, New York City FC, Torque, Troyes, Lommel, Shenzhen Peng City, Palermo, and Bahia would make for a devastating Super League. That would teach the PL. Needs to happen.

So what Peps managerial career will boil down to winning a one club league a couple of times? Dark dark times for him.
🚨💣 UEFA OFFICIAL STATEMENT: “UEFA can confirm that it has received from Real Madrid CF a SUBSTANTIAL amount of documents related to the ongoing investigation into FC Barcelona in the matter involving José María Enríquez NEGREIRA, former vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (the so-called "Negreira case"). UEFA's Ethics and Disciplinary Inspectors have also received these latest documents, which they will assess as part of their ongoing review of the case.”

As I’ve said before, the reason City haven’t just rolled over is because the purpose of City is to legitimise UAE. They don’t care about football. This is all about their countries reputation.
🚨MAN CITY UPDATE - ETIHAD THREATENS PREMIER LEAGUE WITH LEGAL ACTION 😡Airline and City's major sponsor 'categorically rejects' PL panel finding it was involved in 'sham' deals ⚠️Explosive statement claims that PL has 'created damaging implications for Etihad' & warns it must now 'take responsibility for the consequences' 🗣️Also says 'at no time' was it consulted & will now seek legal counsel dailymail.com/sport/football…

They are the same people. You want Sheik Mansour to leave the courtroom wearing his Manchester City Hat and then walk back in wearing his Etihad Airlines hat?

With everything that has transpired in the last week I feel somewhat ashamed of my views towards Arsene at the end of his tenure. I’m sorry. He is a true legend and deserves all the respect in the world.
