One other thing. If I were the other parties, I leave Farage to his by election. Call it a stunt and let him fight it out with Count Binface

In 2008 David Davis resigned from parliament to call a by-election over 42 day detention. It was seen as a stunt, and none of the other major parties stood candidates as a result. Whole thing looked a bit daft. Danger for Farage is same thing happens.

There is no need for other parties to take the bait offered to them by Farage today.
This is a nonsensical & frivolous by-election that's about no great point of principle or policy.
The sensible thing to do is to refuse to put up candidates and let Farage win unopposed.

I took ages to work out why Farage didn't declare the £5million late, once the standards inquiry started. It's public anyway.
But if he cedes the principle, he'd have to declare ALL donations for the 12 months before the GE. And perhaps there's so much more we DON'T know about.

.@Nigel_Farage has made a career out of ‘taking back control’ - but he is not being straight with the British people about who controls him.
Today, I have written to the Standards Commissioner to urge that the latest @thetimes @Gabriel_Pogrund revelations are investigated.
