opus 5.5 and I built a whole DAW this week from the ground up. either you OR the agent can create every sound you hear. here’s the first song we made together today. having Claude build a guitar amp and pedal board on the fly feels pretty magic

I still can't get over how good opus 5.5 is at everything. this was all done without hitting a limit on my max plan today while multi tasking on other work. the before and after is insane. the before was built by opus 4.7 5 rounds, 66 agents, 12.2m tokens, 4k tool calls

a day later and we have rhythm combat! xitter.cf/aj_dev_smith/status/21…
another day of building a rhythm game with opus 5.5. 94 commits and 70 prompts later there's actual gameplay now! 19M tokens over 105 agents (all opus). still haven't hit my weekly Max limit.

a few fun notes: - the whole game revolves around playing in time with the background music - the attacks themselves are recordings of individual notes on my acoustic guitar - as music changes chords, the notes change pitches to match the underlying chord - additional elements build in the background music as you chain together combos - enemies are represented in the music with their own parts (kick heartbeat and snare for attacks for the snake) - most of the environment subtly reacts to the music to help you stay on tempo

highly recommend combining different projects you and claude opus have made together 🔊 everything is coded by opus5.5 including the guitar tone

only 4 months later. opus 5.5 has made huge strides on animusic bench
fable passes “animusic” bench. first of the Claude models to be able to do this. @threejs

now with more instruments! xitter.cf/aj_dev_smith/status/21…
sure you could use these models to tackle unsolved math problems... OR you could have them build intricate marble music machines with @threejs Starship Groove by Opus 5.5 🔊

every instrument here is built from solving the physics ahead of time for every movement you see. this makes the whole song deterministic and perfectly repeatable. opus 5.5 designed all the sounds, instrument designs, and full arrangement

when you realize you only have 6 hours before your weekly max plan limits reset:

so you can just do this with opus 5.5 now..... 🔊 this is what almost 4 billon tokens thrown at a problem for over 26 hours with 392 subagents looks like
day 5 of using @websim_ai with @AnthropicAI claude 3.5 sonnet to make a full audio workstation. today we're combing everything done so far - claude composed the violin melody on the fly - claude built the synth + drum machine lots more to come

didn’t expect this to blow up. here’s a way better example of everything this can do xitter.cf/aj_dev_smith/status/21…

I started this playing just the melody and seeing if claude recognized it. then worked with claude to build out a quick arrangement. everything is code, every instrument, melody, effect, automation etc... and everything can be edited by claude OR you

opus 5.5 is making k pop songs & videos now 🔊 everything here is just code. no music models, no video models. just claude, javascript, and a 7 word prompt

this was the whole prompt if you're curious. this was started in a codebase where claude already made the other songs and videos
