U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff says he’s ready for round two with Republican Mike Collins.
Ahead of Tuesday’s Atlanta Press Club debate, the Democrat accused Collins of ducking questions in their first matchup about his support for tariffs and the war in Iran.
“I don’t know if all of you happened to see the debate last week, but Georgia voters deserve answers from a sitting member of Congress, Mike Collins, who wants to represent this state in the U.S. Senate, and Georgians did not get answers from Mike Collins last week,” Ossoff said.
Then came the preview.
“You all can rest assured that on Tuesday, when I see him again on the debate stage, we will continue to press him to explain what he cannot explain, and to answer questions that he refuses to answer.” #gapol
