i built the maintenance system mostly because i got tired of chasing things manually. who acknowledged the alarm? where’s the report? who’s on duty? did anyone clock in? now the system does the chasing. probably my favourite use of AI so far.

the best AI project i’ve built isn’t a chatbot. it’s a system that solves boring, real-world problems at work. faults, alarms, SLA tracking, reports, inventory, reminders. maybe that’s where AI gets interesting: when you stop demoing it and start depending on it.
