Good news for Europe’s farmers and consumers. @Europarl_EN and @EUCouncil have just agreed on new rules for organic production, labelling, certification and trade. Clearer rules mean fairer competition for organic producers, less red tape for small operators, and improved consumer confidence in organic food. Enlargement is moving forward. The momentum is building. Today, Ukraine and Moldova take another step forward, opening two more negotiation clusters. Montenegro has closed three additional chapters, while Albania has closed another. Different countries, all making progress towards a stronger, safer, more united Europe.

Today the world marks three years since that black October 7th 2023. Since that fateful morning when Hamas terrorists massacred 1195 people in Israel. Since 251 people, including young children and the elderly, were dragged from their homes and taken hostage. Some days stay with you. The scars are still raw for so many. The @Europarl_EN remembers the victims of that day of horror as we recommit to ending terrorism, finding a path to peace and redoubling our efforts to stamp out the ancient evil of antisemitism.
