As the primary caregiver for my 97 YO grandmother, the idea that our seniors deserve less care, consideration, or compassion is ridiculous.
Trump says to not let the #virus dominate your lives. But his negligent response has jeopardized our loved ones, especially seniors. 77,000 residents & care professionals from 19,000 nursing homes have died. 500,000 residents infected. My thoughts here:

Important and exciting to see @RaceForward host a discussion with @TheCityofSac Law and Legislation meeting today on #racialequity , chaired by @JaySchenirer. This is the beginning of many discussions in the city to change institutional racial inequities.
My inner nerd (ok my outer nerd) loves the data-driven strategy to develop the plan. And my planner-brain loves the process - that's the hard work to address the structural racism and identify the work to change. This city is ready to do that (but anxious to get it done already)
