And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Genesis 1:16
Funny. True.
Tu t'appelles Charlotte. 23 ans.
If we haven't learned it yet, we need to learn deeply: appearing witty, funny and edgy on TV is not a mark of character.
Perhaps we need to appreciate more deeply the counter-cultural fact that the Bible commends the quality of being 'sober minded', 'sensible' and 'respectable'.

You've avoided nearly all of my questions, Norah, because you're literally incapable of answering them. Your mind is firmly closed to any evidence or facts that undermine your preferred narrative. You consider it immoral for anyone to even question you, even though you voluntarily and confidently entered this discussion. You're like a flat-earther. Nothing I or anyone else says to you will permeate your stubborn quasi-religious beliefs, because to change your mind would take away a core part of your self image, which is as somebody who is kinder and better and more righteous than the nasty people still advocating for the safety of women and girls.
You repeat your thought-terminating clichés and unevidenced assertions, which I assume sound clever inside your echo chamber, but which, outside it, make you appear not only dim, but a total moral vacuum. Increased risk to females? Who cares. Women threatened by violence? Of course those poor trans-identified men lash out when they meet resistance! What is a gender identity? You can't really say, but like the flat-earther, you're sure it exists, because your tribe is held together by belief in it, and pride themselves on their blind faith in it.
I keep waiting for a single gender ideologue or trans activist to truly engage with the facts, but all of you sheer away from them like horses from fireworks. It truly is like talking to cult members who're incapable of engaging in rational debate and just keep chanting the mantras, consigning all serious questions to the 'evil' bin.
I've been told I'm on the wrong side of history thousands of times. By debating people like you, I've come to realise that your ilk's idea of the 'right side of history' means stripping women and girls' of their rights, excusing male violence against women, siding with those issuing death and rape threats and attempting to suppress critical thought and freedom of speech.
Maybe, like the flat-earthers, you genuinely think history will vindicate you. I believe people will look back on this period and analyse your arguments, not because they admire them, but because they're trying to fathom how so many supposedly intelligent people fell, hook, line and sinker for a bunch of vacuous, post-modern, pseudo-intellectual cobblers, while being completely indifferent to the real world harm they were enabling.

Why is there such a focus on Palestine / Israel / Gaza in western nations?
One reason is the "Palestinianism of Islam" - the intentional creation of a focal point for grievance, the capture of political institutions and the pursuit of the objectives of the Muslim Brotherhood.
In an interview with Visegrad24, the counter-terrorism expert @HarasRafiq spoke about the Muslim Brotherhood’s 100-year plan for taking over the world.
He argued that one of their main tricks to create “a global Ummah gang” is “Palestinianism,” or the obsession with trying to wipe Israel of the map.
Mr Rafiq says that the Islamists want to put Palestine at the center of Islam and the center of geopolitics.
He says that the obsession with Israel is an “opium of the masses-strategy” meant to turn Muslims into Islamists across the world.

I strongly oppose the Draft Conversion Practices Bill.
It is a dangerous, appallingly drafted piece of legislation that criminalises parents who just want to do the right thing by their child.
It is Orwellian in its state over-reach into private family life, and it is as unnecessary as it is dangerous. It also captures teachers, medical practitioners and faith organisations in its vice-like ideological grip. There are already strong and well used protections in existing laws to safeguard vulnerable children.
We do not need this niche hobby-horse of the left wing lobby, who are determined to secure Gender Self-ID by any means necessary.
I will work cross-party with anyone who wants to stop this Bill reaching the statute book.

A new law that risks criminalising parents who question whether their children are trans must be scrapped, MPs, peers and experts have demanded.
‘Gender’, as opposed to sex, is an anti-scientific myth. If a child with a penis announces that he is really a girl, parents and teachers have a positive duty to educate him in the scientific truth that he is a boy.
Of course no parent should use physical or psychological abuse for any reason. But if anyone should be prosecuted it is those who abuse their duty of care by encouraging children in the anti-scientific delusion that they can choose their own sex.

Talking about the need for transformation “is code for you must change yourself, you must deny yourself”. This, Jayne Ozanne says, is a form of ‘conversion practice’.
So now it’s not even what is actually said, it’s about what activists like Jayne say is said by ‘1000s of evangelical churches’ in their ‘coded messages’.
It’s true - the Christian faith is all about transformation – the need to turn from sin and to Christ. Without the need for transformation, there is no Gospel.

In an interview with Visegrad24, the counter-terrorism expert @HarasRafiq stated that the Muslim Brotherhood has a 100-year plan for taking over the world.
“The Project” is a 14-page document written in 1982 which was seized in a Swiss police raid in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks.
The Swiss authorities got their hands on it during a raid on the villa of Youssef Nada near Lugano and related premises of Al-Taqwa Bank, which he directed. Nada was a prominent international figure associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
The document outlines a 12-point global strategy for political Islam, aimed at establishing Islamic governance worldwide.
It emphasizes long-term, gradual, multi-generational institutional embedding known as the Tamkeen strategy.
The document stresses the need to work within Western legal systems, build parallel institutions, infiltrate existing ones, supporting education, fundraising, intelligence-gathering and building temporary alliances on shared issues such as anti-colonialism or the Palestine while supporting jihadist efforts where opportune.
Mr. Rafiq also warns that the Muslim Brotherhood is working from the shadows, with very little attention having been put internationally on the person he considers the most dangerous Islamist alive, the Qatar-based Libyan Secretary-General of the Islamic Union of Scholars, Sheikh Ali Muhammad al-Sallabi.

Barrister @Jebadoo2 explains how a parent saying to their child they should love their body could meet every element of the Government’s proposed ‘conversion practices’ offence.
As Dennis says, all it takes is one difficult, distressing argument for a parent to be wide open to the risk of prosecution.
How can Women and Equalities Minister Bridget Phillipson claim the Bill “will not impinge on” parents’ ability to have difficult conversations with their children?

Take this opportunity to say that the draft bill to 'ban conversion therapy' is unworkable
The Conversion practices draft bill is now being scrutinised by a Joint Select Committee which has been tasked with reporting back to parliament.
This bill will criminalise certain types of consensual conversations, including parents objecting to a child’s gender or sexual identity.
The committee has now issued a call for evidence about this bill, open until 5pm on Monday 16 November.
