Spent years thinking about how systems are built, fail, and change lives. Encountered Bitcoin with skepticism. Then wrote a novel: The Day Satoshi Returned.

2044 #AI does the work. Bitcoin is the money. Prices fall every year, and the debt has nowhere to hide. #MAGA breaks from the #Republicans and wins the White House. Data centers rise in #Siberia and the #Saudi desert. The world looks stable. Glass looks stable too, right before it fractures. 🎧 The Prologue of my Bitcoin thriller, The Day Satoshi Returned. Narrated by Luke Walrath. #XBT is #Bitcoin

Blockstream refilled Liquid: 4,277 spam coin (BTC) now backs the 4,276 L-BTC in circulation. A full wallet proves money went in. The real test is whether large holders can get their spam coin (BTC) out. So far, no big peg-outs. I wouldn’t call Liquid fixed. #XBT is #Bitcoin #BTC is #Spamcoin
Where Did Blockstream Find $50 Million?

Most of us still run XBT on a dollar brain. We price things in USD and convert to Bitcoin at checkout. Me included. Money only separates from the state when it becomes the measuring stick. XBT merchants: what if you priced in sats and left it there, with no real-time or daily re-peg to the dollar? Who would try it first? #XBT is #Bitcoin

In 2044, a street preacher goes live on a bench in Dallas. “They have the message, and they’re hiding it!” The crowd answers with three names: Messiah. Antichrist. Dajjal. The public screens flash: UNVERIFIED CLAIM. PLEASE DESIST. Then two officers walk in. #EndTimes #Antichrist #Audiobook #XBT is #Bitcoin

Week 2. Session 5 of 44. Tempo run today. Katie Barrett’s lesson: learning to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Funny coincidence: my Garmin recommended a tempo run today too, exactly what the training program had scheduled. Coincidence, or do they know something? 😅 5 down. 39 to go. #HalfMarathonTraining #RunningOver40 #RoadTo50

October 31, 2008. A name appeared on a paper. No portrait accompanied it. Eighteen years later, that name continues to inspire countless interpretations. We are not here to reveal Satoshi. We are here to explore what anonymity allows us to imagine. 60 portraits. One name. CUBISM NAKAMOTO cubism-nakamoto.slidde.co/ #Bitcoin #SatoshiNakamoto

18 years ago today, Satoshi published the Bitcoin white paper. It was still incredibly early, but the idea was money that could exist outside the control of the state and financial institutions. That experiment is still running. For me, it continues today with Bitcoin on BLAKE2b. #XBT is #Bitcoin #SatoshiNakamoto #BitcoinWhitepaperDay

Week 2 begins with easy miles. Coach Katie Barrett spent much of today’s run talking about committing to a 12-week program, and the three fears that come with it: 1. It will be hard. 2. It will hurt. 3. You might not finish. The first one? Yes. It’s going to be hard. Katie’s point was that the hard work, especially building the mileage, is the foundation. The second is more interesting: hurt doesn’t always mean injured. There’s the burning in your muscles when you’re pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, and there’s pain that tells you something may actually be wrong. Part of training is learning the difference, and finding that sweet spot between comfortable and too much. Then there’s the fear of not finishing. I don’t really fear finishing a half marathon. I’ve done several before. My last few were always around 2:30. What I haven’t done since I turned 40 is break 2 hours. So maybe that becomes the target. I probably won’t run the half marathon this year. I’m planning to do the 5K with my kids instead. But I can still train as if I’m going. Put in the 12 weeks. Build the mileage. See where I end up. And a correction from my last post: I looked too far ahead 😅 Week 2 is still three runs. The four-run weeks start in Week 3. 40 sessions to go. #Running #HalfMarathonTraining #RunningOver40 #RiyadhRunning
