There is a lot of people misunderstanding it. Even from my friends. This was not a bot, i just sent a message like a bot. Yes i developed a bot, but it is private. Im firm believer of human ladder stayin human and using bots to train if you like

Different AI bot developers have been asking me to try their new tools or battle their bots and I wanna make it clear I have zero interest. I have no desire to help in the development of these tools and I think they take away from what makes Pokémon enjoyable

People have to be more patient with PS. A great step was taken and enforcement is only going to improve with time. I’ve been outspoken about the dangers AI bots will pose upon our game and I mean all of that, but I have a ton of trust and faith in the devs/staff working on it.

To be clear: I still wish these bots didn’t exist, disagree with the logic creators are using to justify making/unleashing them, and wish the trajectory was different/less alarming! But this is a great step and we should celebrate PS devs doing their best when facing adversity.

Three times in a row I've had to play against a bot in the Showdown BO3 ladder. Three in a row, and probably even more during the span of this evening It's worthless gameplay, unusable to get practice for a regional, a pure waste of time. @SmogonU it can't keep going on like this
