#NoArtWithoutArtists
ALT White text on black background: We join our fellow Scottish-based artists, workers and organisations in expressing our deep concern over the Scottish Government's failure to provide certainty surrounding the £6.6 million Grant in Aid budget for Creative Scotland that has led to the abrupt closure of the Open Fund for Individuals. This fund is at the heart of independent artistic creation in Scotland and, without it, many artists are left without the means to continue their work. Our Artistic Director, Brian Logan, alongside members of our team have signed an open letter urging the government to release the necessary money for this vital fund to be reinstated, as well as following through on their promise to double the investment in arts and culture.

🚨🏴 Scotland’s cultural landscape is at risk of collapse.
Vital support for freelance artists has been shut down and core funding for nearly 300 organisations hangs in the balance.
Please sign our new petition to urge the Scottish Government to act now.

This is devastating news for freelancers in Scotland.
Open Fund for Individuals has supported almost all the work I have made to date.
We need clarity and funding from @scotgov now, if they want to ensure there is in fact a culture sector TO fund in the future.
