Spoke about this today again: Flying from Hawaii toward Antarctica in a straight path you cross the International Date Line seven times, going from today to tomorrow, to today, to tomorrow, to today, to tomorrow, to today to finally reach tomorrow. Source: buff.ly/2USA0Ym

Preparing for a new monolith and testing out @springmodulith, it is really good👍, you should all have a look, 👏 @odrotbohm and others involved. Waiting for the "Modulithic Applications with Spring" book to deep dive. Meanwhile the doc is superb as always. – at Metz, France

“The Narrows” - @SuperRare. This particular shot has never been taken before. Taken at almost 3 miles above NYC in a 🚁 with the doors open. The pilot had to be on Oxygen to legally and safely pilot the aircraft. This is the result of a highly planned and coordinated photo shoot.

On Friday, the sun put on a dazzling show for us. My friend @TheVastReaches and I worked hard over the last 5 days to produce this incredibly detailed 140 megapixel image to illustrate how wonderfully dynamic and beautiful our star can be. Make sure you zoom in!

– at Metz, France

Mars!!! 128 million miles away. Listen to the sounds.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video is made of images from the Curiosity rover, which does not have microphones on board to record sound. The sound was added in artificially afterward. Video from the same images from the NASA JPL YouTube Channel: youtube.com/watch?v=0fva2p…

As a software engineer, there's no way to understand 100% of everything; you need to identify key areas where you build up deep expertise while having good enough knowledge of the rest. Being conscious about this becomes only ever more important as you progress in your career.

Hey @LeetCode, what about updating @kotlin version to the latest, seems you're stuck with version 1.3.10 which is like 4+ years old. I see lot of requests for this in support & feedback, still no answer. Can we maybe contribute and help you bump the versions somehow ?
