I think fic writers crashing out is completely valid after weeks of seeing tweets about what they should do in their fics and what they shouldn't, what to use and what style do. I stopped writing years ago but it would exhaust me so much and I would give up now immediately.

sure, fic writers could be less hostile to general writing tips, but can anyone blame them when half the tl is constantly like "why don't all fics cater exactly to my tastes" while the other half is demanding updates and going "I only kudos the best fics, it's the highest praise"
