This is a really good statement and I 100% agree with her. I think both the pros and the audience need a clearer understanding of lift rules so we’re all on the same page. (The pros should know the rules but it can never hurt to get a refresher.)

this lady’s name is terri sue feldshuh. she’s from fucking scarsdale, went to school in westchester, and now lives in california. i’m sick of these genocidal maniacs acting like there is no judaism without israel. judaism existed before and will exist after the state of israel.
“To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild.”
Broadway icon and Nobody Wants This star Tovah Feldshuh gets real with Jonathan Harounoff on UNSCRIPTED, on acting, marriage, the global rise of antisemitism, and what she says about the genocide accusations against Israel.
Full episode drops Monday, October 26 on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

I feel so lucky that the first time I was able to vote I got to vote for Barack Obama. He wasn’t perfect because no President is but he brought class and intellect to the White House. And he was and is an excellent public speaker. ❤️

It’s actually vitally important to slightly inconvenience yourself for your friends. This is the part of being a villager. Sometimes you don’t won’t to go! Go anyway!!!!!! (Obviously this does not include extreme circumstances so miss me with all the whataboutisms)
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long.
Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys
I love going away with girlfriends for our annual long weekend trip (year 7 this year!) Not all of our group goes every year. One never goes bc she doesn’t want to leave her kids. It’s all fine! Lotta people on both “sides” of this discourse are being weird and presumptuous.

A friend extending an invite to THEIR birthday celebration is a very considerate and friendly thing to do. Your only response as a friend if you can’t make it is “hey so I’m not ready to make that type of commitment, how’s about I take you to lunch before or after the trip?”

as a single childless woman, you can show up for countless bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, kid's birthday parties, anniversary dinners etc. but if you want even a modicum of reciprocation suddenly it's mortifying and beyond the pale. lol ok.

I have literally never used a credit card and I have no idea why you would need to. Either you’re spending money you don’t have, which is financially stupid, or you’re paying it off immediately, which is just a debit card with extra steps and more risk.
