On 30 August 2026, four Rwandan Cadets were commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant (2Lt) by H.E the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the colorful ceremony that took place at Turkish Military Academy for the Land Forces (Millî Savunma Üniversitesi Kara Harp Okulu). 2Lt Arnauld BYIRINGIRO and 2Lt Prince CYIZERE graduated from the Turkish Air Force Academy while 2Lt Daniel MBANZABUGABO and 2Lt Robert MUGABE graduated from the Turkish Military Academy.
