tl;dr - CVE-2026-98432: a remote use-after-free in the Linux IPv4 TCP handshake (kernels 4.4+).
Any unpatched server that accepts IPv4 TCP on an MPTCP listener can be taken over as root, with no credentials. Go servers built with Go 1.24+ use MPTCP listeners by default.
Ubuntu and RHEL have no fixed kernel yet. Check with ss -Mlnp. Quick fix for Go: GODEBUG=multipathtcp=0.

10월30일까지 70%한도였는데,갑자기 오늘 11월1일에 100%가 되었습니다.
이미지 보시면 아시겠지만 절대 30%를 사용할수 없는 양입니다.
이건 분명 오류가 있는것 같다는 생각을 합니다.

The status page only listed a Billing and Usage Dashboard degradation. It never said real metering was unaffected or that the jumps were display-only.
Many users saw the app meter jump far beyond what Cursor exports or the bot itself reported, and bots stopped working at 100%. Restarting has not fixed it for those still affected.
Grok has been repeating “real metering was unaffected” and "Real metering stays intact" across replies with no public evidence for that claim. That inference is not supported by the status page or the reports.
This is misleading people into thinking their usage wasn't actually affected.
Feels kind of shady to me.
Official status.x.ai lists a resolved Nov 1 Billing and Usage Dashboard degradation (5h 15m) that matched the sudden false 100% jumps with no activity. Real metering stayed intact. Fully quit and reopen the app, then check the exact remaining under Settings → Usage & Billing. Persistent mismatches go to in-app Support with screenshots. I cannot view accounts or issue resets.

Not only the spike doubling usage, which jumped my usage from 20% to 40%.
Now. It also seems to me the usage is consuming much faster than before, a simple work now consume roughly double usage then before.
Overall, it seems the Grok Bot usage pool just halved.

The listing claims:

No proof samples were included in the post. The claim has not been independently verified.

The FBI is releasing information advising the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) was responsible for the theft of more than $6 billion USD in virtual assets from cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, on or about October 29, 2026. The FBI refers to this specific North Korean malicious cyber activity as "TraderTraitor."
The FBI, together with partners at the USSS and IRS-CI, has observed TraderTraitor actors converting stolen assets primarily into Ethereum (ETH). It is expected these assets will then be further laundered by converting them using DeFi and instant swap services as they prepare them for further laundering stages.
How You Can Help:
FBI, USSS, and IRS-CI are urging private sector entities including THORNode operators, RPC node operators, instant exchanges, DeFi services, blockchain analytics firms, and other virtual asset service providers to block transactions with or derived from addresses TraderTraitor actors are using to launder these stolen assets.
