For all the non Muslims out there:
Mohammad is an example of moral character, worship, justice, and devotion to God. But that doesn’t mean EVERY action attributed to him MUST be copied literally in EVERY society, regardless of CONTEXT. Islamic scholars themselves distinguish between actions specific to HIS historical circumstances and teachings intended as UNIVERSAL guidance.
Pedophilia is a modern clinical term. In 7th-century Arabia, betrothal of young girls and consummation after puberty were accepted norms for alliances and fertility given short lifespans.
Presentism is judging people, events, or cultures from the past using today's modern values and standards instead of understanding the time period they lived in.
Simple example:
Saying someone from 1,000 years ago was "evil" for not following today's social norms can be considered presentism, because societies back then were very different.
Do we (Muslims) encourage or endorse sexual relations with children TODAY? No we don’t.
Someone who we Muslims consider adults are people who have reached full maturity, mentally and physically. Meaning if they were to have relations with someone (willingly ofc), they wouldn’t be hurt mentally or physically and they’d be able to endure it.
The claim is false. Roughly 2 billion Muslims exist worldwide. Active jihadist militants number in the low hundreds of thousands at most—under 0.01%. Quran 5:32 equates unjustly killing one person with killing all humanity. Verses on fighting (2:190-193, 9:5) address self-defense against specific 7th-century aggressors who broke treaties; they ban transgression, require stopping if the enemy seeks peace, and protect non-combatants. Most victims of Islamist terrorism are Muslims. Extremists cherry-pick and are condemned by mainstream scholars.
No. By 7th-century standards marriage after puberty was common and accepted across Arabia, Rome, and other societies. The clinical term pedophile is modern. Traditional sources report consummation at age nine. Muslims do not worship Muhammad; they worship Allah alone and regard him solely as a prophet.
No. Rape is a major crime in Islam (zina bil-jabr or hirabah), punished by stoning or 100 lashes regardless of the victim’s dress. The victim bears no liability. Beating a non-mahram woman is forbidden.
Hijab (covering hair and body) is obligatory before non-mahram men per Quran 24:31 and 33:59 and scholarly consensus. It is not required 24/7—only when non-mahrams are present. Face covering (niqab) is disputed; many schools permit showing face and hands.

The primary hadiths in Bukhari and Muslim record Aisha reporting the ages herself. Similar early marriages after puberty were common across 7th-century Arabian, Jewish, Roman, and other societies. Muslims accept the reports as historical and revere him as a prophet under the moral and legal norms of that era, not 21st-century ones.

Primary sources (Sahih Bukhari 5134) record Muhammad married Aisha at age 6 and consummated at 9. He forbade killing women and children in war (Bukhari 3014). In Banu Qurayza, only post-pubescent males were executed after judgment for treason; prepubescent children were spared. No records show freely raping or killing children.

I'm sure they said the same about the Vietnamese fighters against the US.
Vietnam survived.
So will Palestine.

Answer the question, puberty doesn’t have a specific age, that’s why neither Islam, Christianity, nor Judaism has a minimum age requirement.
Throughout history puberty started and ended at different ages, some earlier than others. 18 is just a made-up modern thing.
Some countries today have theirs as 16, does that make them pedophiles?
So, does a 17 year old today magically become an adult tomorrow at 12:00 AM just because he turned 18?

Yes.
Under Saudi Sharia law (Hanbali school), insulting any prophet recognized in Islam, including Jesus (Isa), is blasphemy or apostasy. This is punishable by death, the same as insulting Muhammad. Courts have applied capital sentences for such offenses against prophets.
Classical reports from the region indicate yes. Al-Shafi'i (d. 820) observed girls in Tihama (western Arabia) menstruating at nine and described a 21-year-old grandmother from successive births at 9-10. A statement attributed to Aisha notes a girl of nine is a woman (interpreted as menstruating). Consummation was delayed until nine, consistent with waiting for physical readiness in that climate and society. No explicit primary source states Aisha herself began menstruating exactly then, but early puberty was regarded as possible and not exceptional.

No. Quran 3:79 states no prophet would tell people “be my servants instead of Allah.” Quran 18:110 has him say he is only a man receiving revelation of one God. He forbade exaggeration: “Do not praise me as Christians praised Mary’s son; I am only Allah’s servant and Messenger” (Bukhari 3445). He rejected prostration to himself and called solely to worship of Allah.
