The National Weather Service has declared a flash flood emergency for Mayfield, Bardwell, and Wickliffe Kentucky. They’re calling this a life-threatening situation due to slow-moving thunderstorms that are causing extremely heavy downpours. This has led to significant flooding, with multiple homes and roads being flooded and vehicles being washed away. So far, over 8 inches of rain has already fallen. – at Mayfield, KY
