The news that a #ceasefire deal has been reached between Israel & Hamas will bring some glimmer of relief to Palestinians victims of Israel’s genocide. But it is bitterly overdue.
There is no time to waste, the international community must ensure:
📌lifesaving humanitarian aid in Gaza
📌urgent rebuilding of medical and other essential infrastructure
📌end of illegal blockade
📌access to independent human rights monitors
📌end of the occupation and the apartheid
