Tried fairlife core power for the first time today. WOW… just wow! Not something I will have often but if I am behind on protein for the day, I will definitely grab one!

Several years ago, I jumped off Macau Tower (the world's highest commercial bungee jump from a building). Yes, I jumped off a perfectly good building lol. Standing on that platform, looking down at 764 feet of absolutely nothing between me and the concrete below, I had a choice: let fear make the decision for me, or take the leap. I jumped (well… fell forward since my feet were bound together). It wasn’t just the adrenaline. It was wondering if I’d been playing it safe in more areas of my life than I wanted to admit. Waiting for the right time. Overthinking decisions. Staying comfortable. Telling myself I’d do certain things someday. But someday is a dangerous word. It makes you feel like you have unlimited time. The older I get the more I realize that time is finite. That jump woke me up and looking at the pics from that day are a great reminder to stay awake. It reminds me that life is happening right now. That growth lives on the other side of discomfort. That some of the experiences that change you most are the ones you’re terrified to attempt. I’m not suggesting everyone needs to throw themselves off a building to figure that out. But I do think we all need moments that shake us out of autopilot and remind us that we’re actually alive, not just going through the motions. Looking back, that jump was about a lot more than falling 764 feet. It was about deciding to participate more fully in my own life. And I’ve never forgotten that feeling. Sometimes, the biggest leap isn’t the one you take off a tower. It’s the one you take toward the life you actually want to live and the person you want to be.

There’s a kind of peace you can only find at 5 AM on a Saturday, when most of the world is still asleep and you’re already putting in the work. ☀️ No noise. No demands. No distractions. Just you, the weights, and the quiet satisfaction of doing something good for yourself before the day even begins. For me, working out has become about so much more than building muscle or losing fat. It’s mental clarity. It’s discipline. It’s a reminder that I can control how I show up for myself, even when everything else feels outside my control. The physical transformation is great. But the peace of mind? That’s the real PR. Win the morning. Find your peace. Let the rest of the world catch up. 👊🏻

Another upgrade to the 54-year-old operating system. 😂👀 Starting QLOSI eye drops today, and I’m genuinely excited to see how they work. One of those things nobody really warns you about as you get older: your eyesight starts negotiating terms. Suddenly, reading small print becomes outrageously difficult! I’m looking forward to not reaching for my readers when I pick up my phone to read posts on X. We’re working on the strength, the cardio, the mobility, the nutrition and the recovery. Why not pay attention to our eyesight, too? The goal isn’t to pretend we’re 25 again. It’s to be the best possible version of ourselves at 54, 64 and beyond. Now, let’s see if these drops deliver. 👀 Aging is inevitable. Feeling old is negotiable. #Longevity #HealthyAging #Biohacking #QLOSI #Over50Fitness

Super shocked…! I just saw a Certified-Pep commercial on Google tv while watching the local Nashville news! I felt validated 😂 Impressive commercial too! (Could also explain some of the price premium they charge)

The scale is a liar. A very persuasive liar. I just got my first follow-up DEXA after starting Reta about two months ago, and it was a good reminder of why obsessing over one number on the scale can be a trap. The headlines: 📉 Significant weight loss 🔥 Significant fat mass reduction 📉 Significant body fat reduction 📏 Significant waist measurement drop Roughly 16 lbs of fat gone. Pretty damn good! But there’s a number I’m slightly disappointed by: 💪 My lean mass! DEXA lean mass isn’t the same thing as muscle, so I’m not going to pretend I lost a lot of actual muscle. Hydration, glycogen and other lean tissue all live in that bucket. But I did lose some lean mass. And that’s the part I care about. The last two months haven’t exactly been a controlled laboratory experiment. I started this Peptide journey at the same time I tore my meniscus, then had four straight weeks of business travel. Training wasn’t as consistent as when I am home and, frankly, it was handicapped at exactly the time I needed it most. So I have some context. But I’m not using it as an excuse. Because here’s the trap: You see the scale dropping like crazy and your brain goes: “HELL YEAH. MORE. FASTER. SMALLER NUMBER. FEED ME THE NUMBER.” Suddenly the scale becomes Gollum and you’re just standing there holding your loaded pen whispering: “My precious…” But the goal was never to become really good at weighing less. The goal is to become leaner, stronger and more athletic. So Phase 1 was about proving I could lose the fat. Phase 2 is about earning that bit of muscle back. Less obsession with how fast the scale moves. Even tighter focus on lifting, protein, recovery, performance and building a body that I actually want to keep. I’m proud of the progress. A little annoyed by the lean-mass loss. And very motivated by the opportunity to improve the next set of numbers. Still going. Still learning. Still trying to be better. And apparently still trying to avoid becoming Gollum with my Retatrutide. It’s only part of the equation!

X is absolutely starving for better content about RETATRUTIDE. Because right now, the algorithm seems to have decided there are only two things to say about it: “IT’S A TRIPLE AGONIST AND IT’S AMAZING.” or “BEFORE AND AFTER PICS OF MASSIVE TRANSFORMATIONS THAT PUSH AN AFFILIATE CODE.” Repeat approximately 4,000 times. 😂 There’s a massive middle ground nobody talks about enough: What does the actual journey look like? The bloodwork. The DEXA scans. The strength training. The nutrition. The weeks where the scale barely moves. The unexpected wins. The side effects. The questions you still don’t have answers to. The difference between losing weight and actually changing your body. The mental side of changing 30+ years of habits. That’s why accounts like @retadiary are so valuable. He isn’t trying to win the internet’s “fastest Reta transformation” competition. He’s documenting the process. And honestly, that’s the content I want to see more of. Not another debate about whether Reta is the greatest thing ever invented or the downfall of civilization. Show me the data. Show me the boring weeks. Show me the mistakes. Show me what happens when real people use these medications while actually training, eating intelligently and trying to build a healthier life. Because the most useful Reta story probably isn’t: “I lost 80 pounds in 4 months.” It might be: “Here’s what happened to my body, strength, bloodwork, appetite, mindset and lifestyle over the last 12 months.” That’s a story worth following. And X has an enormous appetite for it. Pun absolutely intended. 😂

Your fitness transformation isn’t just about what happens inside the gym. One of the things I’ve come to love about living downtown Nashville is the vibe. Walk outside and there’s energy everywhere—people walking, restaurants buzzing, live music, friends meeting up, and something always happening. It’s hard not to feel a little more alive when you’re surrounded by that kind of energy. And I’ve realized how important that is to a physical transformation journey. We talk constantly about training, nutrition, protein, calories, sleep and recovery. All of it matters. But mental health matters just as much. You can have the perfect workout program and diet, but if you’re stressed, isolated, miserable or mentally burned out, sustaining that transformation becomes a hell of a lot harder. For me, getting healthier isn’t just about losing fat or building muscle. It’s about building a life that makes me want to keep doing those things. The gym changes your body. Your environment, relationships and mindset help change your life. Downtown Nashville definitely helps with the latter. Not to mention it still feels peaceful at 5:30am on my gym patio!

54 years old. Motion age: 18. I’ll happily take that result. 😎 Just took my DARI Motion Test, and I’m pretty damn pleased. The test evaluates how you move across a range of functional movements, and the results put my motion age at 18! That is 36 years younger than my actual age. But the part I’m most proud of isn’t the number. It’s what it represents. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become much more intentional about mobility, movement quality and functionality—not just strength and muscle. It’s easy to focus on how much you can lift, how much you weigh, or what you look like in the mirror. But being strong without being able to move well isn’t the goal. Mobility is part of the training. So is stability. So is range of motion. So is recovery. And so is being able to move your body well for the next 30 years. The goal isn’t just to add years to your life. It’s to add quality years to your life. Apparently, I’m off to a pretty good start. 😎 54 on the birth certificate. 18 in motion. I’ll take it. 💪 @DARImotion

The workout is only half the equation. What you eat afterward matters just as much. Full-body workout this morning, followed by a breakfast that actually supports the work: 🥚 2 eggs + additional egg whites 🥩 Leftover steak 🧀 Cottage cheese 🍠 Sweet potato Protein to support muscle repair and growth. Carbs to replenish glycogen and fuel recovery. Nutrient-dense food to give your body what it needs. One thing I’ve learned on this fitness journey: You can’t out-train poor nutrition, and you don’t build a lean, muscular physique by starving yourself. Especially as we get older, the goal shouldn’t simply be losing weight. It should be losing fat, preserving muscle, improving metabolic health, and building a body that performs well for decades. Train hard. Eat intelligently. Recover properly. Repeat. Your body is not just something you’re trying to make smaller. It’s something you’re trying to make stronger. 💪

If the calorie trackers on smart watches/fitness trackers were accurate I would have hit 20% body fat a long time ago 🤣🤣🤣

Thinking about converting my wine fridge into a peptide fridge. 😂 I quit drinking a few years ago, and honestly, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Better sleep. Better workouts. Better recovery. Better body composition. Better person. More energy. Less brain fog. No hangovers. And a lot fewer mornings questioning what the hell happened the night before. 😂 Now every time I look at this wine fridge, it’s basically staring at me like: “Remember when you used to put alcohol in here?” Nope. Time for an upgrade. Wine fridge ➡️ peptide fridge. Same refrigerator. Completely different life. 😂💉 Funny how the things that once represented your old lifestyle can eventually become reminders of how far you’ve come.

Four straight weeks of business travel. Four weeks of hotel gyms and multiple dinners in restaurants that cook with crap I would never put in my own food. Four weeks of making it work… albeit not always ideal. And today at 430am… I’m finally back where I belong. 💪 Nothing against hotel gyms, but there’s something about walking back into your own gym that just hits different. Travel tested the routine. It may have bent a bit… but it didn’t break. Back home and back at it. LFG! 🔥

Just got home from the airport after my week in NYC and had my Crush Research package waiting for me! Nice packaging and branding! Again…. Impressed! I may or may not have placed another order during the presale that has already shipped based on the notification I got a few hours ago! I’m apparently getting ready for a peptide apocalypse! 🤦‍♂️@rorynotsorry Also had my package from @KevinPomaski @220_BioWorx here waiting for me as well. Thanks for the fast shipping!
