I will end the gas tax, unleash American energy, and bring down your costs for good.
New Yorkers get hit three times at the pump: the state excise tax, the petroleum business tax, and sales tax stacked on top of both. This is the main reason New York has some of the highest fuel prices in the nation. Scrapping it cuts costs at the pump and everywhere else the day it takes effect.
Kathy Hochul already admitted the gas tax hurts you. She suspended it in 2022 to buy votes, then slapped it right back on. She knew it was crushing families and she brought it back anyway: a standard election-year con. Blake Gendebien will protect that con, because Hochul bragged about hand-selecting him.

Borrows like a country.
And people are fleeing like it's a war-torn country that's been invaded.
Albany's $277 billion budget is bigger than Norway's. Norway has a trillion-dollar oil fund. We have potholes.
The State, NYC and the MTA owe $233 billion, and we're on the hook. That's Sweden-level debt, costing an estimated $1.8 billion a month. Sweden has free healthcare. We have a late $3 subway ride.
Since 2020, over a million more New Yorkers have left than moved in. Proportionally, faster than Ukraine. Ukraine is in a war. Our only enemy is Albany.
We have no army. No navy. Nobody's invading Poughkeepsie.
So where's the money going?
Interest payments. A bureaucracy that grows whether it works or not. Programs nobody audits and contracts nobody reads.
And who signs off on all of it?
The idiots running our government.
They borrow through the back door, spend like it's someone else's credit card (it's yours), then act shocked when neighbors move to Florida.
Run a company like Albany and you're fired.
I've spent my career building companies and turning around balance sheets. This one's worse.
Albany's had its chance.
Fire them on November 3.

I just really have to say this as a New Yorker and someone who’s taken this midterm very seriously I absolutely love how Bruce Blakeman is taking his campaign directly to the people, listening to local shop owners, street vendors, and residents right on the block. Seeing him joined by NBA legend Jayson Williams shows the deep, powerful support he is building across New York.
But the highlight for me had to be the stop at the historic Sylvia’s Restaurant for a powerful moment of prayer. In times like these, seeing a leader put faith and community first is incredibly inspiring. This is exactly the kind of energy, leadership, and respect New York needs right now.
