Implementation of AI reduced the workload of breast radiologists and improved screening performance in a regional Danish population-based breast cancer screening program. @RegionH @MLSectionUCPH @uni_copenhagen @andefader bit.ly/3yK3O2D
💗 AI in breast cancer screening improves detection and reduces workload 💗
Our study with @UCPH_Research and @screenpointmed on AI in breast cancer screening in @RegionH is hot off the press at @radiology_rsna. The news are exciting!

Does #brain #amyloid β warrant dysfunctional #bloodbrainbarrier and #neurovascular #coupling in #Alzheimers disease? Nope! We looked at #NVC #transcytosis #paracellular #permeability using #2photon #microscopy with #machinelearning and #ephys #invivo tinyurl.com/44sd3c5t 1/2
Happy and proud to see that our study keeps getting attention in the news and on social media! The results have been important in giving clinical confidence in the AI system, which is now is use at @RegionH. We are currently monitoring the quality of screening with AI.

AI-based screening was able to detect normal, moderate-risk, and suspicious mammograms in a breast cancer screening program, which may reduce the radiologist workload. @andefader @MLSectionUCPH @screenpointmed @AiCentreDK bit.ly/3JQeCMd
Our paper on screening with AI system Transpara, by @screenpointmed, was finally published in Radiology.
We showed that radiologists' workload can be safely reduced by 63% while reducing false positive screenings by 25%.
