The @UMSL Daily wrote a piece on me and my research! And I must say, it reads much better than all my ramblings and random thoughts about my life & work.

New paper alert! Did you ever wonder how orchid bees see color? Well... now we know! (spoiler alert - not much different than honey/bumble/stingless bees).
Check out the work I did with @msaimeesue, @DavidOutomuro, and @zapkapow at the @MorehouseLab!

4y ago I came to the Brazilian consulate in Chicago to vote on our presidential election. There were maybe 10 people in front of me in line. Today I am back here and there were at least 2,000 people in front of me in line and the line keeps growing 🇧🇷
Someone from the embassy said there are 11,000 registered voters in our region, and I love that I got to see so many of them today!
