Britain doesn’t have a shortage of talent, resources or ambition. It currently has a broken political system that makes building, investing, producing energy and employing people unnecessarily difficult. Just take a look at the broad sweeping and comprehensive nature of Robert Jenrick’s 64-point programme takes aim at the problem the political establishment created: excessive regulation, high costs and political inertia that have helped choke Britain’s growth potential. Currently it is incredibly difficult to build, produce energy, invest and employ people in Britain. Reform UK aims to unleash British resources and creativity. From unlocking the North Sea and accelerating nuclear power to building homes, runways and reservoirs, cutting employment costs, develop nuclear power and backing AI, the message is clear: Britain must stop putting obstacles in the way of its own prosperity. Businesses need room to grow, entrepreneurs need confidence to invest, and workers need an economy that rewards productivity and ambition. This is a direct challenge to Westminster’s tired economics of managed decline. You cannot tax your way to dynamism, regulate your way to competitiveness or deliver prosperity through endless bureaucracy. Growth requires energy, infrastructure, enterprise and a dynamic government willing to make decisions—not another round of political promises while the country stands still. Reform UK is putting wealth creation back at the centre of the debate. The test will be delivery: lower costs, more investment, higher productivity and rising living standards. But the principle is simple—and overdue: stop managing decline. Start building wealth. What is deemed revolutionary in British politics is, in reality, basic economic sanity. At the Reform UK Party conference, I was struck at the revolutionary nature of the party that seeks to upend the status quo by advancing ‘First 100 Days’ plan to revive Britain with sweeping legislative and administrative changes. The political opposition to Netanyahu is hardly based on substantive policy differences, but rather on personal antipathy to Netanyahu. Just take a look at Gadi Eisenkot's Dahiya Doctrine that seeks to target civilian infrastructure to turn civilians against Hamas. Britain's unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state and sanctions on Israeli goods coming from Judea and Samaria is only hardening Israeli's identities and boosting Israeli's public support for the right. While Israel is downgrading it's relationship with European states that lack military capabilities, it is upgrading its relations with Greece, Cyprus, India, Gulf Arab states such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE. This is due to Israel's unprecedented power projection capabilities making it an asymmetric geopolitical power.
