An astute flight attendant may have thwarted a highjacking. I had one highjacking case when I was an agent. The flight had to be escorted down by fighter jets. In this case, the pilot and all involved acted low key and swiftly. A flight attendant saw text messages about a highjacking on a passenger's phone, according to reports. Staying tuned to see how legitimate the threat was. In the case I worked, the flight attendant was actually behind the threat as a cry for notoriety. Not suggesting that here, just citing what happened in my case. She was convicted and sentenced to 5 years. #Highjacking #Lasvegas

JUST IN: Serbia’s longtime leader Aleksandar Vucic conceded defeat in Sunday’s parliamentary election, losing to a student-led opposition movement after two years of protests against his government. The stunning result ends 14 years of dominance by Vucic and his right-wing party. Backed by Vladimir Putin, Vucic had accused the student movement of being a foreign-backed attempt to oust him. The opposition is projected to win 135–140 of Parliament’s 250 seats, compared with about 105 for Vucic’s party.

Tonight - Serbia feels like the new Hungary - over throwing of a Russia friendly / Putin sympathising leader for something genuinely new - in Serbias case a student led party . Does this shift dynamics in the war on Ukraine ? And with the shape of the EU?
I have just spoken by phone with the leaders of the Students' List @studentblokade, who won the elections in Serbia, to congratulate them on their victory. I assured them of Hungary’s support. I was delighted to hear how much strength our victory in April had given them during this difficult struggle.

Matthias Jaissle reacts to Newcastle's crucial victory against Crystal Palace 💪

Very important win for Matthias Jaissle and Newcastle today, and you could see it in the post-match celebrations. A first clean sheet of the season, and big contributions from a few players who have been receiving criticism of late. With players coming back from injury, things are feeling more positive externally and the league table is looking a lot healthier… #NUFC

Feels like a significant win for Matthias Jaissle especially given how much better second half performance was compared to the first. He is consistenly getting a postive reaction at half time and is capable of perceptive in game tactical tweaks. Newcastle needed a good result this weekend and delivered one #nufc

The constant whining by many #nufc accounts on here I’ll take a 0-0 1st half after being walloped away 4-1 previously. All to play for the rest of the game lads and lasses
