"What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."
I've been thinking a lot lately about how fun it would be to watch a gender-flipped production of "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and then today I realized it's already been done and is called "The Devil Wears Prada."
Need @MegamiNYC back on my TV giving confessionals exactly like this.

God I hope it's not too late for @adelajergova to be the guest judge for Girl Groups week on @RuPaulsDragRace feat. a lip sync to KGB by the top 2 b/c everyone slays it.
The reason the world will never make me a billionaire is because I would simply enjoy anonymously sending money to people who need it in life changing ways too much.

i’ve watched a lot of friends make unnecessarily costly decisions under the assumption that every element of one’s life must be a political expression — including:
staying in exploitative nonprofit jobs, forgoing kids bc of climate change guilt, hooking themselves up to an IV drip of political news when it makes them miserable, cutting off family with even slight political disagreements.
and i think very little of it redounds to any public benefit. it often impoverishes their life and by extension others’.
the most effective and resilient public interest advocates i know cut themselves and others a lot of slack, because life is hard enough.
A gift link, because this piece is indeed bracing and worth reading in its entirety: nytimes.com/2026/09/20/magaz…

I will not endure 3 years of "wicked looks so drab and grey" discourse to see you lot be mad about the idea of a psychedelic narnia movie

Greta is making a Narnia movie for the people Narnia should always be for (atheist gays who grew up super Christian)
EXCLUSIVE 🪩
Greta Gerwig’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew is a rock inspired fantasy nodding to David Bowie and The Who.
“Narnia is literally a world made out of music,” she tells Empire. “Rock’n’roll to me felt like a world made out of music.”

Me yelling “pick a direction!” at a squirrel in the road is probably exactly how God feels watching me make a decision.

I know this sounds corny and cringey and naive and whatever, but Dolly Parton felt like America when it was trying to be the place it promised to be.
Somewhere in LA someone is scrambling to write "Food Recall: The Rusical" and a year from now we're going to watch a Queen get sent home for fading into the background while playing the role of "Killer Blueberry."

me when my friends mess up: you’re only human, please be kind to yourself. it’s ok to learn
me when i mess up: they should shoot me like a dog in the street
The only thing I have to contribute to the discourse on this is that you should go into it as if you're about to watch a very good stage play with special effects you couldn't actually pull of in a stage play.
I loved it.
