End of story -- it is vitally and strategically imperative for Europe and the entire free world to take the most decisive steps to accelerate the development of their own alternative to Starlink. Otherwise, this profoundly hypocritical, infantile, walking embodiment of the Dunning-Kruger effect, drunk on his own sense of limitless power, impunity, and imagined moral superiority, will bring the entire free world to ruin -- all for the sake of the ketamine-fueled cockroaches in his head.

ZELENSKYY OUTMANEUVERS TRUMP AGAIN What began as an attempt to pressure Ukraine through Starlink restrictions appears to have backfired politically. The United States reportedly restored critical satellite communications for Ukrainian forces, while lawmakers from both parties intensified pressure on the Trump administration. On October 22–23, several congressional initiatives emerged. A bipartisan group of lawmakers demanded that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth expand the Pentagon’s Starshield contract with SpaceX and restore Ukraine’s full access to Starlink and Starshield without speed restrictions. Three members of Congress representing Silicon Valley called on White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles to investigate who authorized the restrictions and whether SpaceX violated its government contracts. They requested a briefing within 14 days. Meanwhile, Republican Brian Fitzpatrick introduced legislation alongside Republican Don Bacon and Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. The proposal would reverse the Treasury Department’s October 9 authorization involving Russian diesel transactions and require continued U.S. intelligence sharing and satellite imagery support for Ukraine. Any suspension of such assistance would require notification to congressional intelligence committees within 24 hours. According to The New York Times, senators from both parties also warned that they could block Trump administration nominees until critical satellite communications for Ukraine were restored. Fitzpatrick reportedly went further, threatening consequences for officials responsible for the restrictions, including potential dismissals and departmental budget cuts. The controversy has reportedly angered not only Democrats but also Republicans who support Ukraine. Trump appears to have retreated under mounting pressure. But the larger political consequences may only be beginning. Instead of weakening Ukraine, the Starlink controversy has given its supporters in Congress another reason to challenge the administration. And with the November elections approaching, this confrontation could become even more significant. Zelenskyy may have turned another moment of vulnerability into political leverage in Washington.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky: The most important thing for today: we have resumed the work of Starlink and Starshield at the speed that was before all these restrictions. The restoration began last night, and in the morning there were already speeds sufficient for using this connection. I thank all the Americans, all our partners, who took all this seriously and are really helping us. Thank you to the congressmen, senators, all the media, the State Department and the President.

No, @elonmusk, the U.S. stopped funding Ukraine last year. In fact, U.S. companies make money on American weapons for which we Europeans pay. The more you meddle in our politics and the more you play politics with your products, the more you damage your brand.
Replying to @elonmusk
And some of that US taxpayer money comes back through multiple laundry machines to fund political campaigns in America, which is why you see some politicians caring more about Ukraine than America!

“UCR nunca reconocerá las okupaciones”. ¿Está bien claro así o todavía no?
🚨 Russia currently controls 19.3% of Ukraine's territory — Zelenskyy "When somebody speaks about 25%, it means that we have to [withdraw] by ourselves from all the Donbas, and it will mean, yes, they will control 25%," the Ukrainian president said in an interview. As for freezing the front line, Kyiv is ready to end the war as quickly as possible and is indeed open to a ceasefire along the current line of contact. However, Ukraine will never agree to recognize the temporarily occupied territories as Russian, Zelenskyy stressed.

❗️Rubio: Trump doesn’t like seeing a ballistic missile hit a residential building in Kyiv and civilians die.

This is obviously much bigger than Ukraine. Tomorrow it could be F-35s shut down because a US president wants gas prices 2 cents lower before elections. Or Saudi Patriot systems disabled during a missile attack because Riyadh refuses to increase oil production.
As I’ve pointed out before, it doesn’t matter whether it’s SpaceX/Starshield, Musk, or the White House. For the end user, the result is the same: the product will be politically weaponized against you. Whether the White House orders it or Musk proposes it makes no difference.

Trump claims he did not order restrictions on Ukraine’s access to Starlink “I don’t know who it could have been, but it wasn’t me. And I don’t think it was Elon Musk either,” the US president said. Reuters previously reported that the order to restrict Ukraine’s access to the Starshield military system came from the White House. What a circus…

Now that we know, for a fact, that pulling back Starlink and Starshield from Ukraine was Elon Musk's idea, and that it is very likely he pulled back only after facing direct public scrutiny for it, I think it is time for all the people who were running around claiming "you're an idiot, you don't even know the difference between starlink and starshield" should bow down and apologize.

Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS. Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company.

Hey, @elonmusk, big man, are you playing politics with your products again? As your European customers, we are watching you.
