Jan 2025: the first AI agent to put kids sport on autopilot gets my money. Oct 2026: Grok Bot is the closest I've seen. Its own computer, reads the inbox, signs in to the club systems, and tells me when the fixture changes. Full disclosure, my wife does our sports admin. So it's really her money. Still can't do the half-time oranges. Yet. Come on, humanoid robots.

There's nowhere quite like Seal Rocks. Even in the rain.

I get the best results with AI when I treat it like a coworker. The work comes back better when AI gets the same brief anyone would. Nothing complex. No "prompt engineering". Just clear and simple briefs I'd hand to anyone. According to Anthropic's Head of Applications:
I am surprised that people are surprised this is how I prompt Claude. Talk to Claude the way you would a coworker. There's no secret to prompting. There's no need to be overly scaffolded or prescriptive for most tasks -- give Claude a goal, and it will figure it out. Back in the Sonnet 3.5 days, your prompt mattered a lot. Nowadays, it's much more important to communicate to the model: 1. What you want it to do 2. How much effort you want it to spend 3. How it should verify that it did the right thing

This is what attracted me to the web and what I still cherish today. The 90s web, will there ever be anything like it again?
It turns out that @Snowden is not only a talented writer, but his childhood is also very relatable. Many of us who came of age during the 1990's caught a glimpse of something beautiful, and we've never been willing to let it go.

If you want something to be remembered forever, you don't have to write it to the blockchain. Just compile it into a promise to a small child.

On the heels of cuts to skilled migration, unworkable privacy laws and cuts to govt funded R&D (totalling $4B cut so far), I didn't think it could get worse for tech jobs in Australia. But it has.

😔 #Australia! @shopify customers down under are asking for Aus hosting. I refuse if this law passes. Fact: ratio of entrepreneurs in 🇦🇺 is one of the highest we see on our platform but your gov obviously doesn’t know how to unleash that creativity. @scottfarkas here to help.
