Okay, I'm breaking character here. This is not a satire post. My 2-year-old son is in a wheelchair that we can't fit into our car. We are not eligible to apply for a wheelchair accessible vehicle until he is three--and even then we would have to pay about £13,000 towards it (which we don't have).
The idea that disabled people get given free cars willy-nilly is bullshit. My son has to attend regular appointments at various locations. He has a team of specialists dedicated to helping him with an extremely rare neurological condition that means he needs around the clock supervision.
He can't even hold his own head up so a regular car seat is out of the question. He was using a baby seat, but he's outgrown that. It's really tough for us to get around because misinformation from pricks like Nigel influences public opinion. Does this seem right?
Hey @virginmedia still waiting for my HBO Max code. Any chance you can confirm when you're sending out?

Can they find whoever is "wahoo-ing" in the crowd and throw them in the Thames, please? #UFCLondon

I absolutely love Suffolk.. my mother's family all lived there not far from the coast. On my last visit there I did notice a lot more housing developments inland from Felixstowe. One little village is more likely going to become a small town before too long.

Word of the day is ‘recrudescence’ (17th century): the return of something terrible after a time of reprieve.
#Coparenting.
Waking up early as it's your daughters birthday, waiting for her to wake up excited, which she does.
She waits for a few moments, and when you tell her the camera is ready, she bursts through the wrapping paper that covers her door.

Awkward interaction passes, and you're off home again, back walking through the door. There are no more excited squeals, no more giggles and laughter, just the remnants of how the day started on your living room floor.

We've had a good week, but today was definitely the hardest switch over I've done.
So I'm making sure I talk today, checking in with friend's and family, and remembering it's OK not to be OK. @andysmanclubuk #parenting
