Doug Ford and his government can disappear for five months on a taxpayer-funded break while continuing to collect their very comfortable taxpayer-funded salaries, and somehow find the time to spend OUR tax dollars on ads attacking Ontario’s teachers. Think about that. Teachers. The people we entrust with our children every single day. Instead of smaller classes, more EAs, better special-education supports and properly funded schools, Ford would rather spend public money trying to turn the public against educators. Why? Because an educated population asks questions. Critical thinkers are harder to manipulate. Strong public education gives children the tools to challenge governments, corporations and people in power and Ford’s actions make it increasingly difficult to believe that’s what he wants. And let’s not ignore something else: teaching is a female-dominated profession. When a government repeatedly picks fights with educators, nurses and other predominantly female public-sector workforces, people have every right to question that pattern. Stop using OUR money to attack teachers. Use it to fund classrooms. Hire EAs. Reduce class sizes. Support special education. Fix our schools. Ontario’s teachers are not the enemy. Underfunding public education is.

You know what would raise #EQAO test scores in #OntEd schools? 1) Vulnerable students with complex needs getting the proactive 1:1 EA support they need. 2) Classrooms not being evacuated daily. 3) Not making kids wait 2-4 years for special needs assessments.

Wild how no one talks about intuition, even though it runs the whole show. It doesn’t get respect because you can’t chart it. Can’t KPI it. Can’t build a Notion dashboard around it. So it gets written off as vibes some soft, unscalable thing. But that’s backwards. Intuition is deep, subconscious pattern recognition. Built through repetition, exposure, and failure. It’s your nervous system doing the math before your brain even shows up. You act. You’re right. You don’t always know why but you know. And still, most experts can’t access it. Why? Fear. They’re trapped in the logic loop. Trained to explain everything, justify everything, defend every move with data. So when the moment hits? They stall. They hesitate. They miss. Where does all that anxiety live? The gut. Same place your instincts fire from. Same place your doubt festers when you ignore them. The gut is the seat of intuition. If you’re not using it to move, it turns on you. That instinct becomes anxiety. Paralysis. Overthinking. But when it’s game time, it’s not the spreadsheet that saves you. It’s the gut. The body. The knowing. Ignore it, and you second-guess everything. Train it, and it carries you through the fire.

Trust the universe. When you keep giving yourself what you want from others, like-minded people will also give you what you want. Want validation from others? Validate yourself. Want others to respect you? Respect yourself. What you pour into yourself, the universe mirrors back.

A final reminder to parents,….. Your dreams may not be your children’s dreams. Becoming a pro athlete or a 7 figure per year professional happens infrequently. Rejoice, rather, in their self directed fulfillments, their interests, their joy. It’s about them.

All I'm saying is, I wish that people (politicians, the media, the general public) were as worked up about underfunded schools, classes being cancelled due to lack of a teacher, school repairs, mental health supports, and clean air, as they are about cellphones. 🤷🏿‍♂️ #OntEd
