"The Serbian Students’ Blueprint for How To Overthrow a Government – And Run a Country" As student-led movements spread across Europe, all eyes are on the incredible success of Serbia’s Student List. How did they topple the president – and how will they now govern? From Zeteo UK: zeteo.uk/p/the-serbian-stude…

Don’t know why people are making this complicated: They start filming hoping there’s something good in there. There is, but not enough. They go to Amanda who ends up being eager to participate, adding the crucial layer to the story. Nathan leaves it where he does for a reason
my working theory of the movie is that they didn’t get enough material to make it really good but Nathan hated Billy so much that they were like “let’s just make it look like I had an affair with his wife”

Serbian success wasn’t ousting Vucic. It’s an average person going from “I’m not into politics” to researching policies, rallying, cutting ties with people… Regardless of what new government does short term, nurturing this has to be the first priority

Sorry for wanting good for people elsewhere lmao
Earnest take: I think it’s probably not healthy for the practice of democratic self-government that so many people have developed strong rooting interests in elections in countries they don’t live in.

This is Novi Sad, the site of the horrific awning collapse that killed 16 people, sparking the massive student-led protests that led to Vučić's demise two years later. Seeing the entire place bounce like this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime thing.
