🚨 🚨 An accident is traumatic enough. Being left stranded by the police for over TWO HOURS, with a FIVE-YEAR-OLD CHILD and a SENIOR CITIZEN (My Mother), is simply unacceptable.🚨 🚨
1️⃣ On 31 October 2026, at approximately 11:01 PM, our family met with a serious road accident near GAIL Service Station, Bagaluru Road, while travelling from KIAL towards Whitefield. A speeding Mahindra Thar (KA 01 NC 6868) rammed into our Tata Punch (KA 53 MM 7661). The impact deployed the airbags, left our car completely immobilised and caused minor injuries to the occupants - @AditiDoon @myr179
2️⃣ The actual accident footage is attached to this post. Senior Karnataka Police officials are requested to watch the video and examine the circumstances and severity of the collision.
3️⃣ Despite repeatedly contacting Chikkajala Traffic Police, our family was left stranded at the accident spot for over TWO HOURS. No assistance vehicle was made available. We eventually had to arrange our own transportation to the police station, leaving our severely damaged and unsecured vehicle abandoned on the roadside.
⁉️ What followed raises even more serious questions.⁉️
4️⃣ Despite repeated requests, the accident scene was not inspected and documented while our vehicle was still at the location. We were given varying explanations, including staff unavailability, the need to register an FIR first and that a spot inspection could only be conducted during daytime.
5️⃣ This raises serious concerns about compliance with Rule 150A read with Clause 1 of Annexure XIII of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which prescribe accident investigation procedures, including scene inspection, photography, video recording and preparation of a site plan.
6️⃣ We then had to independently arrange towing, wait for hours and manage the vehicle handover at approximately 4:30 AM.
7️⃣ An FIR (181/2026) has since been registered, naming the Thar driver. Both vehicles are reportedly being retained for RTO inspection.
8️⃣ We demand answers and immediate intervention from senior Karnataka Police officials:
1. Why was a family left stranded for over two hours after a serious road accident?
2. Why was the accident scene not inspected and documented despite repeated requests while the damaged vehicle was still there?
3. Who is accountable for the apparent lapses in the initial police response and investigation?
4. Why should accident victims have to independently arrange transportation, towing and manage basic formalities?
5. When will the RTO inspection be completed and our Tata Punch released? There must be no unnecessary retention of the vehicle.
9️⃣ We have preserved dashcam footage, photographs, videos of the accident scene, recordings of our interactions with police personnel and the video of the vehicle handover. The accident footage is attached to this post for immediate reference.
🔟 We are NOT asking for special treatment. We are asking for the police to follow prescribed procedures, preserve evidence, act responsibly and treat accident victims with basic consideration.
AN ACCIDENT VICTIM SHOULD NOT HAVE TO FIGHT THE SYSTEM AFTER SURVIVING A ROAD ACCIDENT.
Senior Karnataka Police officials, we seek your immediate intervention, accountability and a time-bound resolution. This matter deserves attention at the highest level.

Calling all Marriott experts 🙋♂️
20 nights in, 5 short of Gold Elite.
Any tips, tricks or jugaad to get there?
PS: I know 5 more nights will do it, but I don't have any Marriott stays planned for the rest of 2026.

The only reason I have started to use my Access Atlas again is Apple Pay.

For anything related to Visas, contact @think_in_points or visit captainvisas.com ✈️
🚨 Hey everyone! Here's a little announcement I've been meaning to make for a while…
I'm officially starting Captain Visas, a visa assistance service to help people navigate their visa applications. ✈️
For those visiting my profile for the first time, I'm Arjun. I'm an avid traveller, having travelled extensively over the last decade.
I've been assisting people with visas for quite some time. It started with colleagues and friends asking me to look at their applications, and over time, many more people started reaching out. I've helped tons of people so far, and I'm excited to take this forward through Captain Visas.
If you've been following me here on X, you've probably seen the visa checklists, guides, and other visa-related content I've shared. Many people have found them extremely helpful. Those who've taken assistance from me have often appreciated the depth and attention to detail I bring to the process.
Applying for a visa can be quite stressful for Indians. There are a lot of documents to prepare, myths and misinformation to navigate, and it's not always easy to figure out what actually applies to your situation. On top of it, there's the fear of rejection, especially when you've already spent money on flights/hotels, planned a trip with family or friends, and requested time off work. The whole process can get overwhelming.
That's exactly where I want to help people.
Being meticulous about documentation is something I learnt from my mom. I bring that same attention to detail to every visa application, making sure every document serves a purpose and the entire application tells one clear, consistent story!
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every applicant has a different profile, travel history, and purpose of travel, and their application should reflect that.
And honestly, what keeps me going is the excitement people share when they message me saying, "I got my visa approved!" It makes me super happy knowing I played a small part in making their trip possible.
So, Captain Visas is officially live! 🎉
Check it out here: captainvisas.com/
I'm starting with Schengen visa (Europe) assistance, with UK and Japan visa assistance going live on my site very soon.
I currently offer two services with straightforward pricing:
📕 Document Review: ₹700 - You've prepared most of your application yourself, but want someone to review your documents, identify gaps, and tell you what needs to be fixed.
📘 Complete Visa Prep: ₹1,200 - More hands-on assistance with documentation, a personalised cover letter, itinerary recommendations, and overall application preparation.
You can book an appointment through my website, DM me on X, or reach out to me on WhatsApp.
For now, I'm the captain behind Captain Visas, navigating this ship myself to ensure that I can give every application the attention to detail it deserves.
To all the folks who've trusted me with their applications so far, thank you so much. A lot of this wouldn't have happened without you. 🙏
P.S. - My DMs on X are open, so feel free to ping me for any visa-related queries!
