This is the story of my family, and of my Mom -- who we lost to cancer when I was 13 years old. Her courage and resilience inspires me to be brave, and to fight for Florida families. Her story hasn't ended, but it’s up to us to write the next chapter. We start in November. #HD47

I expect this shift to narrow substantially, but yesterday was another decent day for Democrats in FL.

The New York investors behind the "Blue Ribbon Projects" bill just gave $100,000 to Byron Donalds, the Republican nominee for governor.
The bill would let the biggest landowners in Florida (10,000+ acres) develop city-sized projects without any meaningful local input or control

Florida Republicans are so desperate to stop voters from hearing about Hope Florida that they’re suing TV stations, claiming it's criminal to discuss the grand jury report ... even though James Uthmeier has discussed that very leaked report multiple times.

NEW: Byron Donalds has been boosted by over $6 million from data center interests.
That includes Florida's power companies, Meta, and Google.
Welcome to the “free” state of FL! As a reminder, the GOP threatened broadcast companies during the 2024 election cycle, and has targeted billboard companies too. If you want to stop corruption, address the affordability crisis, and get your freedom of speech back— vote Democrat!
BREAKING: The Republican Party of Florida wants a judge to pull a Democratic TV ad about the Hope Florida grand jury report. It says airing the report's "content, gist, or import" is now a crime.
The lawsuit, filed at 11:36 p.m. Friday in Highlands County, targets the Florida Democratic Party, its three statewide candidates and 11 TV stations in Orlando and Tampa Bay.
The party also referred the stations to FDLE and prosecutors. One copy went to the statewide prosecutor, who works in AG James Uthmeier's office. Uthmeier is the candidate the ad targets.
What the lawsuit leaves out:
- The grand jury report has been public since Aug. 26.
- The appeals court ruling it relies on isn't final until Friday at the earliest.
- The U.S. Supreme Court struck down part of the same secrecy law in 1990.
Early voting starts Monday in many counties.
