Glad to attend the launch of ”Utrikesminister i förändringens tid”, the memoir of my good friend Ann Linde, reflecting on her years as Minister for Foreign Affairs. I look forward to reading her personal account of a turbulent period in Swedish foreign policy, the experiences and challenges that shaped her time in office. It was a pleasure to be invited to the book signing of former Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde.
When it came to Yemen, Ann Linde was more than just a politician. She had a deep understanding of what was happening and genuinely cared about helping the Yemeni people.
I also appreciated her commitment to women’s rights and her work to advance feminist foreign policy, including the importance of women’s participation in peace processes.
