Ordered some traditionally-made incense from Japan (Fukuoka cedar and tabu) which arrived the other day. Nice smoky aroma, not that horrible florally shit.
Got up early to take my car in for some scheduled work. Corner bakery/cafe wasn't open (usually from 6am), streets seemed a bit quiet (although I was taking minor roads), and when I get to the repairer it was closed.
Because it was Sunday, not Monday!!!
I have a dipshit vatnik friend who I enjoy trolling online as well as on person. I find it particularly satisfying to use his own words (mostly) in a different context, to really rile him up.
Currently trialling "Israel is not my enemy" but I don't think he's falling for it...
Every now and again I find myself cc'd into a group email from some nutter outlining their disjointed conspiracy theory/manifesto which they have sent to local politicians, press etc. Invariably they are victim to come convoluted plot.

I love it when a client asks me to do something which they already asked me to do a couple months ago and which I already did. And sent them.
*mutters under breath^
So, I have been working on behalf of a major vehicle hire company to locate and recover a stolen car.
What no-one tells me is the police found the fucking thing over a week ago. Looks like they never told the client either.
Why the fuck did I decide to try a Biscoff yoghurt thing when I don't like Biscoff? What thought process led me to believe that somehow, despite my abhorence towards Satan's biscuit, this would be the pinnacle of yoghurty goodness?
I was wrong.
So because I was bored, and for shits and giggles, when I passed a local church this morning and saw a sign outside 'talking cafe' I decided to go in. I'm always up for an argument, sorry, 'conversation'.

They met up twice a week and went for a walk before returning and having tea and biscuits. Or scones. And they liked to talk about anything at all.
They seemed nice enough, we chatted about nothing at all for a while, I was offered a 2nd scone (which I accepted).

Had to urgently serve another Trespass Notice on (now former) patient of medical centre for making threats to kidnap his doctor. He was okay about it, said he made no threats but admitted snapping.
Felt a bit sorry for him, to be honest. Mental health issues evident.
So for over 15 years I have been trying to get a guy to do the necessary paperwork to claim his inheritance from abroad. FIFTEEN YEARS!!!!
Anyway, I may finally have convinced him and this saga may be at an end soon.
Recently did some work to help locate a person named in Will of overseas-based decedent (with only a name to go on). Found a number of possibles and made contact. Nice work.
Plot twist is now TWO of them are claiming to be the person sought!
But...
Sitting at a lawyer's waiting to do an affidavit, flicking through a 'lifestyle magazine' reminds me I don't have a lifestyle, mainly by virtue of not having a life.
After the tiramisu incident yesterday, my day devolved further, ending with a middle-aged fuckknuckle screaming at me.
I reverted to my true form and may have condescendingly mocked him in a faux-polite manner, just to rile him further.
I'm not perfect and I don't even try...
Got a new client who seemed normal at first but after repeated requests to provide information to base an investigation on, I just get vague responses which don't address my specific questions.
Starting to think it's yet another example of the usual story...
