Although my short talk was canceled after a fire alarm decided to make its own opening remarks, I still enjoyed the opportunity to share our work with colleagues and leadership at the Moffitt Symposium 2026. This year’s symposium featured over 270 posters!
Our latest study is out in Nature Communications, with the complex structure of LAG3 bound to MHC class II !
I am excited to share our @NatureComms paper describing the structure of #LAG3 bound to MHC-II. This project was carried out by @SuperMQQ et al at @MoffittResearch and provides new insights into the mechanism by which LAG3 suppresses T cell activation. nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

Out just now! My super talented colleague Qianqian Ming has just published the first structure of the immune checkpoint LAG3. This publication couldn’t be any more timely as the FDA just approved a new drug targeting LAG3.
