So honored to be featured on @NPR's Weekend Edition today! If you didn't wake up in time to hear it live, you can listen to my interview about the new album and accompanying book of photography right here: npr.org/2022/11/19/113796380…
All the things that make Digger great also make it impossible to properly market without giving away too much, so if you're on the fence, go see it! And make sure you see it in a theater (for reasons I can't explain without also giving away too much)

Milli Vanilli *AND* Vanilla Ice?! Also, did they use AI to generate all of the artist images? So much to unpack here...

absolutely recommend "The Sheep Detectives" -- but only if you know what to expect; a truly delightful shaggy-sheep story with wonderful (human) voices including that of Bryan Cranston as a stalwart ram & Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the most clever sheep. a meta-mystery that most skillfully deconstructs the formulaic English village cozy even as it manages to surprise us nonetheless.
surprisingly candid about matters of life & death; almost too stark for its convivial tone. might be OK for children of 10 or 11.... its tragic revelations come as a surprise in a film of such conviviality & magnanimity.

Every time a Mets player comes up to bat at Citi Field they play this tough guy montage of them brandishing a bat in front of a giant wall with their name in lights and it’s set to badass hip hop but then their stats come up and they’re hitting .146 with two million strikeouts
