قال الإمامُ ابنُ تيميّة:"مَنشأُ الباطلِ:مِنْ نَقصِ العِلْمِ،أو سُوءِ القَصْدِ،كما قالَ تعالى{إنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنْفُسُ}.

When Allah Intends Good for His Servant
Ibn al-Qayyim (رَحِمَهُ الله) said, “If Allah intends good for a servant, He makes him aware of his own sins and prevents him from dwelling on the sins of others. He makes him generous with what he possesses, uninterested in what others possess, and patient with the harm they cause him. But if Allah intends evil for him, He makes him the opposite of these things.” *

His biggest criticism of the Iranian regime is a fatwa?
Not the Shia practice of calling upon Ali/Husayn besides Allah?
Not the abuse of our Mother Aishah?
Not the cursing of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ ?
This tells us everything!
Unlike the bootlickers of Saudi, UAE, Syria, etc., I have no hesitation to criticize the Iranian government.
My biggest criticism: the fatwa banning nuclear weapons.
Also embarassing is the fatwa allowing sex change operations.
These need to be reversed.
Also, it is a huge mistake for the government to start building monuments (e.g., Rustam fighting the dragon) which encourage ethnic nationalism at the expense of Islam.
Anyone who wants good for the ISLAMIC Republic of Iran must enjoin good and forbid evil, rather than becoming a disgraced Madkhali-like bootlicking slave, as is sadly so common for Arab and especially Gulf nations.
